In Our Own Aboriginal Voice 2: a Collection of Aboriginal Writers and Artists in Canada features short fiction, memoirs, and poetry from Aboriginal (status or non-status) writers in Canada. Written submissions were selected by a panel of Aboriginal judges of librarians, educators, and administrators, and includes Aboriginal author, Richard van Camp. Partial proceeds from sales of In Our Own Aboriginal Voice 2will be donated to Tsawalk Learning Centre, Nanaimo. Foreword written by former Chief Edmund Metatawabin. In Our Own Aboriginal Voice 2: to be released Fall 2019 by Rebel Mountain Press. Each selected author will receive a one time fee and a free copy of In Our Own Aboriginal Voice 2. Copies will also be available at regional libraries and book stores across Canada. Published authors will be invited to publicly read their stories at various literary venues. Special thanks to Vancouver Island Regional Library for their support in this project.
