None of the girls are thrilled to be pulled out of class on the first day of Grade Seven to be sent to Skills Class, but they are used to it. Stazy is dyslexic, so struggles with her reading and writing. Rena has severe allergies and asthma and misses enough school that she is often behind and needs extra support. Hali is an excellent student, but her hearing loss makes it hard to keep up with everything taught in the classroom. And Faye has ADHD and finds it hard to focus her thoughts at school.
However, each of the girls hides a secret magical power, and it is only by fusing their magic and completely focussing during a crisis situation, that they come into their true power. Ultimately, it’s all about accepting your friends and yourself, just as you are. |
