First year's partial proceeds from In Our Own Aboriginal Voice was donated to Wachiay Friendship Centre- $794.58 used for the Elders program that provides instruction of the Kwak'wala language to youth in the community.
To date, over a thousand dollars have been donated to Wachiay.
